KSP conducting multiple checkpoints

In multiple statements issued by the Kentucky State Police announced Sunday morning, KSP will “observe and check for violations of Kentucky traffic and regulatory laws relating to motor vehicle equipment safety, licensing of drivers, motor vehicle registration, and operation of motor vehicles while under the influence of intoxicants.”

These checkpoints are intended to provide additional safety measures during a busy traffic period with Labor Day around the corner.

Some traffic delays can be expected around checkpoint locations.
