Stationary object incidents have recently increased among the independent contractor fleet. These accidents often occur when a driver is reversing or making an off-track turn. 

You can mitigate these incidents by checking the vehicle’s path of travel before making a complex maneuver. This includes checking above the vehicle to account for any low-hanging signs or height restrictive barriers.
