Winter storm Cora will impact millions across the south from Texas to Virginia through Friday. Areas in the path of the storm will be impacted by snow and possibly ice. The Weather Channel is advising that travel will be dangerous in these areas and will remain so until after the weekend when temperatures are expected to rise. States have already issued travel warnings and advisories, urging motorists to stay home and not travel. FMCSA regulation 392.14 states a commercial driver must cease operations if road conditions are unsafe. Exit the roadways and find a safe location to wait out the storm.
