JJ Keller has communicated a 52% increase in ELD form and manner violations. Common violations that fail into this category are failing to add a shipment number, failing to add a trailer number, or failing to be able to transfer logs electronically. JJ Keller recommends that commercial drivers check their logs daily to ensure all the required information is present. Failure to complete a log with the required information will result in a violation on a roadside inspection. It will also impact the CSA program and the driver’s safety performance record.
