Fleet messages

The National Weather Service has posted winter storm warnings and winter weather advisories across the South from central and eastern Texas to parts of Georgia and the Carolinas. Cities in those alerts include Houston; New Orleans; Tallahassee, Florida; portions of the Atlanta metro area; and Charleston, South Carolina. Snow, ice and wind will combine to make travel conditions dangerous in these areas. Blizzard warnings are also in effect for southeast Texas and southwest Louisiana, which will experience whiteout conditions. If conditions become unsafe, federal regulations state that commercial drivers must exit the roadway and find a safe location to park until road conditions improve.
