Several states have declared a state of emergency due to the impacts of Winter Storm Enzo. At this time, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida are all reporting state of emergency declarations. Travel restrictions are in place, which could include road closures and travel bans for specific types of vehicles. If you must travel in areas that are impacted, check Department of Transportation websites to ensure travel is permitted. Anyone found violating a travel ban, could be issued a citation and fined accordingly. If conditions are unsafe, federal regulations state commercial drivers must exit the roadway and wait for conditions to improve prior to continuing to travel.
