Take short steps at a slower than normal pace so you can react quickly when walking on snow or icy covered surfaces. Make sure you check the area below as you exit or enter the vehicle. Look for ice or uneven surfaces that could cause you to fall. Always use three points of contact when entering or exiting the commercial motor vehicle to ensure stability.
